Is TaoDaoism already a temple?
No. TaoDaoism is the education platform and support engine. The Temple of Dragon Clouds and Tranquility is a future project that should become a distinct institution when properly established.
Where will the Temple be located?
The final location is not locked. The project is evaluating location flexibility based on community, land, legal structure, funding, and long-term stability.
Are donations tax-deductible?
This must be stated clearly on the final donation page based on the legal receiving entity. Until the proper structure exists, public language should avoid implying tax deductibility.
Can a donation be restricted to a specific project?
Eventually yes, if the project has proper accounting. Each restricted donation path must state the receiving entity, the project category, and what happens if the project changes or is delayed.
Will donations buy blessings or ritual benefits?
No. TaoDaoism should not sell blessings, miracles, spiritual rank, cures, divine protection, guaranteed prosperity, or ritual power.
What can be shown publicly for transparency?
Public pages can show project stage, general totals, needed categories, milestone updates, sanitized progress, and published reports. They should not show private donor data, children’s identities, addresses, internal negotiations, or security-sensitive details.
How can people help before the Temple exists?
People can follow the newsletter, share educational content, support TaoDaoism’s general work, contribute to approved projects when available, volunteer skills, and help build the community base.
