Support helps TaoDaoism create the educational, community, and institutional foundation for a future Taoist sanctuary. The goal is a temple that can support worship, ritual, cultivation, family education, service projects, study, and long-term preservation.

2. Current Stage
Foundation Stage
The Temple Project is not yet a completed temple, construction campaign, or legally separate temple entity. TaoDaoism currently supports the planning and public foundation. When the Temple becomes ready for formal establishment, it should operate as a separate institution with its own governance, finances, and responsibilities.

6. Supporter Questions
Questions a Responsible Donor Should Ask
Is TaoDaoism the Temple?
No. TaoDaoism is the founding platform and support engine. The future Temple should become a separate institution when legally and operationally ready.
Is the Temple already built?
No. The project is in the foundation stage. The proposal, website, project dashboard, and donation model are being prepared before major physical commitments.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Only if and when a proper legal structure allows it. Donation pages must clearly state the receiving entity and tax status.
Can donors choose a specific project?
The plan is to support restricted project giving where operationally possible, with clear public/private tracking boundaries.
